[00:01:46] Speaker C: Anyone else managed to get it? [00:01:48] Speaker B: No, I didn't get it. [00:01:50] Speaker D: You wouldn't because it was on WhatsApp. [00:01:51] Speaker C: Okay, Sarah, I guess you can't read in the WhatsApp. There's a pasta quiz. What pasta are you, oh, I should. [00:02:00] Speaker D: Have sent it to you. Sometimes my brain does not work. [00:02:04] Speaker H: Oh, I would have loved that. [00:02:05] Speaker D: Do you want to do it quickly while we chat? [00:02:07] Speaker C: Because of Italy and the pasta. [00:02:10] Speaker D: Obviously. She's angel's hair pasta. I'm sorry, Sarah. I should have copied and. No, that's okay. [00:02:17] Speaker C: No, don't worry about it. [00:02:20] Speaker E: I do worry, despite what you, I. [00:02:22] Speaker D: Go the rig leg, it's going to tear me apart. No, it's not on the, no, it's got pictures. It's like, which one of these looks the most delicious? And no, no. I'm going to send you the link in case you want to do it. [00:02:37] Speaker C: That could be an interruption. [00:02:38] Speaker D: Yeah, but I can still do it. But you could add in after. Totally. Just put in a little blurb at the end of the episode. That's like, and by the way, I'm fettuccine or whatever. Okay, great. All right. Okay. [00:02:51] Speaker C: Does anyone feel mayor or Kim, actually, you didn't do the quiz. [00:02:55] Speaker D: Yet. [00:02:55] Speaker C: Did you? [00:02:56] Speaker D: No, I didn't. [00:02:57] Speaker C: Okay. Aligned with their pasta because mine's way off. [00:03:00] Speaker D: Okay, how about I read you my pasta and you guys can tell me if it sounds like me? [00:03:05] Speaker C: Okay. [00:03:06] Speaker D: I copied what the answer was into a word document, so bear with me. [00:03:10] Speaker E: I took a screenshot. [00:03:12] Speaker D: It says you are penny. You are pretty easy going and relaxed, even in tough situations. You believe you need to be calm instead of being anxious and aggravating a tense situation. You don't get angry quickly, too. You make sure that nothing stands in the way of your lifestyle. I thought that last bit was kind of thrown in. Nothing stands in the way of my lifestyle. What is my lifestyle? Running around, taking kids activities and going from work to home and making dinner. [00:03:40] Speaker C: Nothing's going to Penny, too. And I'm, like, the opposite of that description. I'm hot tempered with bouts of mania and everything. Opposite of that. I'm not a penne at all. [00:03:56] Speaker D: I think I'm partially a penny that nothing getting in the way of my lifestyle. I don't think is it? [00:04:01] Speaker C: I was hoping to be fusili. [00:04:03] Speaker E: I think you're fusilli as well. That's exactly what I was going to. [00:04:06] Speaker C: Say, because I want to say it. [00:04:08] Speaker F: Yeah. [00:04:09] Speaker C: What were you, Kim? [00:04:11] Speaker E: I'm rigatoni. [00:04:12] Speaker C: Oh, that's a great choice. [00:04:14] Speaker D: What's your description? [00:04:16] Speaker E: I'm a hardworking individual. I give my all to accomplish anything I set my mind to. My determination has no limit, and the same applies to my goals. This nature of mine helps keep me focused, too. [00:04:29] Speaker D: I think that Sarah might be a rigatoni. [00:04:32] Speaker E: Yeah, a rigatoni. [00:04:34] Speaker C: What is everyone's favorite pasta shape to eat? Because why not? Then everyone can be included. [00:04:42] Speaker D: I am two extremes. I like spaghetti. [00:04:45] Speaker C: Spaghetti. [00:04:46] Speaker D: Actually, I'm not extremes. Sometimes I feel like a fettuccine, but I like really skinny spaghetti. [00:04:51] Speaker C: Okay, Ashley, what's your favorite pasta? [00:04:53] Speaker D: So I don't like pasta. [00:04:57] Speaker C: Answer a lot. [00:04:59] Speaker D: Yeah. So I'm not a pasta person. But you know what? I will fuck up a pesto pasta. And I like the bow ties. Just because I was going to say. [00:05:07] Speaker C: If it's pesto, it's got to be bon. [00:05:09] Speaker D: A bow tie. Me too. [00:05:10] Speaker C: Perfect sense to me. [00:05:11] Speaker H: Bow tie. That's my. [00:05:12] Speaker D: Yeah, a bow tie. [00:05:13] Speaker C: A couple of bow tie bitches. [00:05:14] Speaker D: I see it. [00:05:17] Speaker E: I'm so opposite. I don't want any of those pastas that are, like, pieces. [00:05:21] Speaker C: Yeah, I'm a noodle girl. [00:05:22] Speaker D: You want to twirl it, twist it? [00:05:25] Speaker E: Or I want it to be stuffed with something then I'll deal with it. [00:05:28] Speaker D: Sure. [00:05:29] Speaker E: Probably. [00:05:30] Speaker C: If it's stuffed with cheese, I'll deal with it. [00:05:32] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:05:32] Speaker D: I think it depends on the sauce. For me, if there's going to be chunks in the sauce because they gave all these sauces, I'm like that. I don't do any of those sauces. I do cut up a whole bunch of vegetables and I cook them in lots of olive oil, salt. I put on nutritional yeast and like basil. And then I throw in the noodles. [00:05:50] Speaker G: That's what it's like. [00:05:50] Speaker D: So good. It's just like lots of vegetables. But I cut the vegetables like this. And so penne is perfect. It's the same size as the pieces of vegetable. That's what I want. I want if there's chunks, the noodles need to be the same size as the chunks to make it easy to eat. And if there's no chunks, then I'm with Kim, a very thin noodle that I can twirl on a fork. It's perfect. What noodle do you like? [00:06:13] Speaker C: Oh, I'm a linguini all day long. [00:06:15] Speaker D: You should, guys should know this already. I don't even have to say it. Look at me all day, clearly lean. I don't know why this is a. [00:06:23] Speaker C: Linguini, but leah guinea it is. And you know Leah guinea. I'm dancing. [00:06:32] Speaker D: Have we lost Kim? [00:06:33] Speaker C: Is she frozen? [00:06:34] Speaker H: Kim, are you. [00:06:42] Speaker C: Tony? [00:06:43] Speaker B: This interruption is brought to you by unpublished. Do you want to know more about the members in book interrupted? Go behind the scenes, visit our website at ww bookinterrupted.com. [00:06:56] Speaker D: Book interrupted I don't want to startle. [00:07:01] Speaker G: Anybody with this interruption, so I'm just going to start by saying everybody is okay and is going to be okay. And I had the worst interruption the other day, and it was the other day, not right now. And that's why I'm talking about it so calmly. I got rear ended while stopped at an intersection and it was super scary. And the kids were in the car and they were scared as well. And I got some whiplash out of it, which was pretty impressive considering both cars were stopped before the person hit me. So this has become a huge interruption because there's the insurance claim and I've got to get quotes and I got to drive around a broken car because it's drivable. But the trunk doesn't open, which is going to make it hard for grocery shopping and things like that and driving the dog around or whatever. And then I got to get it fixed. So, man, I've never been in a car accident before and hopefully I never will again. [00:07:59] Speaker D: Book interrupted. [00:08:02] Speaker H: So I did the pasta quiz, and I am here to give you an update. What I got. And amazingly, I got bow tie pasta. They don't call it that. They call it the proper italian name, which is. Let me just do the farfal. Farfale. Yeah. So I got bowtie pasta, which is amazing. And I'll read you what it means. You are an energetic individual needing to be active most of the day. You reject the opportunity to live a sedentary lifestyle that most people would be happy with. You want to live every minute like it's your last and experience everything you can. I can see that I am busy. I do not like to do nothing. I mean, I guess, like, I like reading, but I'm not doing nothing. I'm very much multifasker. So maybe I don't know how accurate this quiz is actually. But I do like that I got bowtie pasta because I love bowtie pasta. So another update is some of the other members did the quiz as well and told us what they got. And Virginia got rigatoni just like Kim did. And Lindsay got spaghetti. So what I did is I tried to do the quiz over and over and over again, trying to get with spaghetti, and I just couldn't get it. I picked so many different things and could never get spaghetti. Got everything else, never spaghetti. And then my daughter did this morning and she got spaghetti, too. So I'm going to read what spaghetti is. You are a warm hearted individual who is always available when a friend needs help. Your sympathetic and sensitive nature is perfect. When you're lending a listening ear, you're more traditional, trending to stick to the classic. So Lindsay got that, too. Once again, I'm not sure how accurate the descriptions of our personality are based on our pasta dish, but spaghetti is my daughter's favorite. So we both got our favorite pasta. [00:10:03] Speaker D: Yeah. [00:10:03] Speaker B: So there you go. [00:10:04] Speaker H: End of the pasta quiz. Go ahead and check the show notes if you want to take this quiz yourself. [00:10:09] Speaker D: All right. [00:10:10] Speaker H: Makes you hungry for pasta, though. Just a heads up. [00:10:13] Speaker B: Thank you for joining us on this episode of Book Interrupted.
